I have so much to be thankful for! I love my family so much and am thankful for my friends here in Albuquerque. Holidays are the hardest part of living away from family but that is when friends come in. At first I was really sad that our dear friends the Nickersons aren’t here anymore, we have spent several Thanksgivings together and I was afraid that in their absence we would spend the holiday alone. Instead we reached out and invited a new friend, the Crams over to celebrate the holiday with us. The food was wonderful, Josh smoked a delicious Turkey and the rest of the food was wonderful too. Friends really do make the holidays wonderful when distance keeps you away from family.
Science Experiments
Rachel had the week of Thanksgiving off of school. It was so fun to have all that quality time with her.
One of the things she said she wanted to do was a science experiment, I decided to save that for when Josh was off. He loves it when Rachel shows an interest in Science.
Such a good Dad!!
Fun with Fall
What is better than playing in the leaves in the wonderful fall air?? Rachel has been begging to go rake up the leaves in our front yard for weeks. So Josh took her out to clean up the yard and they had a blast. Rachel was having so much fun that Sarah had to go join in.

I love Sarah's face in this picture
Boxes-best toy in the world
We got a new entertainment center a few weeks ago and the girls have loved the box. I forgot how fun a box can be. It was their fort/club. They decorated it with drawings and spent most of their time playing in it.
