Paris
In June I went on another exciting business trip, this time to France. We went to meet with scientists in the small town of Gramat in southern France. We flew to France on a Friday and spent the weekend in Paris before driving down to Gramat for a week of meetings. I have divided the pictures into two pages, this one of things we saw in Paris, and the other with the rest of the trip (a link to the other page is at the bottom) |

Our first day in Paris we tried to walk off the jet lag. |
The inside of Notre Dame is spectacular. Incredibly tall ceilings, beautiful stained glass, and detailed sculptures. |

Next, we walked past the Louvre museum and down to the Arc de Triomphe. |
You can't tour Paris without a stop by the Eiffel Tower. |

On day 2 we rode the elevator all the way to the top of the Eiffel Tower. What a view! |
